simple

its all so simple
rain make flowers grow
and i don’t know why
its so easy
the man you turn me into
and i keep asking why

so elementary
so easy to ignore it

stop having complications
there’s only life to live
and love along the way
it takes only seven seconds
to see how easy it is
to throw it all away

so elementary
i see your face before me

arrival II

my summer arrived. happy
she announced herself
with a smiling whisper
and a glint in the eye

floating on a new current
of rouge and shine
the old doubt defeated
his emptiness now void

my sails now taught
like the buddha belly
gleaming in its laugh
revelling in its nirvana

and arrived we have
swam to shore while learning
what it is to drown
what it is to live

a little smiling picture
etched upon my life
the lost of the fray
returned with the morning light

the future is a dark map undrawn
but on the very next step
it might reveal where
x marks the spot

and within a blink
the future cement
the treasure shared
unto our lives

how to let it rain

you are the next sunrise
when dawn came for me
i sat with my feet up
feeling the breeze
a wind of change has turned
direction to random
to rearrange the dust
the settlement accumulated
in fine quantities
to obscure and hide the haven

the new dawn revealed
it prompted the salt
in the air to cling extra long
urged the corrosion to pit
it self against
the angry clouds reached
with its unseen and feeling arms
with all its might to shield
the new rays from reaching
where i had my feet up

to stop such a force
would be foolish
like children in play
in innocence and learning
i do not have the will
to close the doors have opened
to stop the flood from coming
to end the rain
from loving me
for i am engulfed
in your sunset

love

and the greatest invention
is that for all will find
some in this life
others in the next
looking back

and yet it is blooming
its crimson and black
it smells like the summer
it colours the snow
inhale it freshly
expel as you wish

selfish minders
or selfless finders
you present wrapped
in the way you gave
inhale it freshly
expel as you wish

moment

a brief moment past
so close but not touching soon
like snowflake on tongue

crack in cocoon silk
holding on to let it go
soon flutter-by fly
