a brief moment past
so close but not touching soon
like snowflake on tongue
crack in cocoon silk
holding on to let it go
soon flutter-by fly

insect vs. cape doctor
the paper king saw...
the flutter on by
out of cocoon silky cell
wind swept colour blur
the flutter on by
out of cocoon silky cell
wind swept colour blur
missing today
today
i miss you without reservation
without fear or doubt
without emotional calm
without guarantee or promises
like a black hole gulping at anything
and everything
search for you
on colourful markings and signposts
mapped, printed and issued to my memories
i reminisce the station
where sanity got off
the same platform where
love got lost with our baggage
there where the sunset was magnificent
through the window of your compartment
where your wine was sweet and
its dryness a comfort
the train left me standing
stripped like a hatchling in winter
warm like a freshly brewed hate
morose in my blind comfort
with fear of returning doubt
and the collapse of the
hole i'm filling up
i miss you
today
i miss you without reservation
without fear or doubt
without emotional calm
without guarantee or promises
like a black hole gulping at anything

choice
behind my back
a guess-the-hand surprise
in one fist a shooting star
the other a milky way
i hold them sweet and to your say
a closed fist you must choose
be in the left
be in the right
the decision in your eyes
say o giver of grace
the world may change
my fist i take ?
the world would have lost its way
if the choice is to never choose !
the falling star may fade away
but hope it brings
those lost in harm's way
the milky way forever stay
beautiful to look at
forever and a day
but when you gaze and see my choice
high in the heavenly cloud
i pray the hope or wonder gaze
would fill your temple with guidance
and your life be praise
a guess-the-hand surprise
in one fist a shooting star
the other a milky way
i hold them sweet and to your say

so amazing
hold the fire please now hold your tongue
for long i've know now your the only one
God forbid i always told the truth
when we had it all love in our youth
photographs all torn up lost our past
i turn my head these memories i have
you came by to cart your stuff away
a broken heart lost in the move today
and so we lost
something amazing
memories things only we can have
but hey we felt amazing
but all of that is buried
dead at last
there's a million more things i can say
a million more deaths i die each day
maybe one day i will sleep again
maybe one day i can sleep again
for long i've know now your the only one
God forbid i always told the truth
when we had it all love in our youth
photographs all torn up lost our past
i turn my head these memories i have
you came by to cart your stuff away
a broken heart lost in the move today
and so we lost
something amazing
memories things only we can have
but hey we felt amazing
but all of that is buried
dead at last
